There was a tremendous amount of commentary (good & bad) on all of the wrestling forums when Coach Ryan was hired.
2 seasons.
2 national champs (& how many AAs?).
2nd place finish in the NCAAs in year 2!
Great wrestling coaches have a certain few qualities in common:
1. They develop their wrestlers in the time that they have them.
2. When they put their team on the mat, everyone knows all of his competitors are going to be ready to go and there will be no "gimmies."
3. He has his wrestlers (barring injuries of course) peaking at the end of the season tournaments.
That certainly characterizes coach Ryan's tenure at tOSU!
Congratulations coach Ryan on a great 1st 2 seasons.
Now let's bring home a team title <sign_oh> <sign_io>

I would add - they can recruit. Ryan is passing this test as well.
