Wrestle off brackets are posted. Some interesting tidbits:
125 - Malik a bye to the finals and Andre to the semis. Could have easily been just 2 semis.
133 - No Bouzakis. Probably dinged up, but maybe he decided to RS this year.
141 - D'Emilio v. Decatur. Jordan won last year before getting hurt.
149 - None
157 - Only Paddy and Wilcox. Hope Paddy looks good. Was hoping to see Gavin Brown here or at 149.
165 - Kharchla easy
174 - Smith easy.
184 - No Geog.
197 - Interested in Shumate-Stein. Hopefully Hoffman looks aggressive.
285 - How badly does Feldman beat Tate?

In recent history they've had guys that are planning to redshirt wrestle off anyway, so I wouldn't read too much into Bouzakis other than he's probably dinged up.
Nothing too surprising, although Gonzales wrestling off at 125 seems like a sign that he's only an option at 133 if neither of Bouzakis or Mendez are competitive.

Jason, I’m not convinced Feldman does beat Tate.

Word is the plan is for Mendes to wrestle 133 and bouzakis to redshirt this year. Feldman wins by a narrow margin maybe like 4-2. Not enough to pull a redshirt.

Did Shumate win by pin or injury?

Shumate had Stein in a cradle. I thought the ref called a pin, but maybe they stopped it for injury instead.
The video is up on the Ohio State Wrestling Facebook page.

Decatur pulled it out. Down 1 and on bottom on a restart. Gets the escape and then a td at buzzer to win. WOW!!!

I didn't get to watch it live but just finished rewatching the broadcast.
Always hard to take anything definitive away from wrestle-off results, but my $0.02:
125 - Malik looks the same. Slightly ahead of Gonzales at the moment but not by much, although he created the much better action in this match.
133 - Mendez decks Koontz early in the match, mercifully.
141 - Kind of funny... it was a lot like last year's match. Decatur scores early. D'Emilio controlled most of the action for the next 6 minutes but Decatur came back alive in the literal last 10 seconds (escape to tie it, go behind to win it with 0:00 on the clock). These guys are very evenly matched. IMO, Decatur has earned the spot for the time being, but will need to prove himself in Vegas if he wants to keep it.
157 - Paddy looks alright. Wilcox is somewhat solid, although unremarkable. Paddy wins a close bout that was never in doubt.
165 - Kharchla begins this season where he left off last season... stuck on bottom. I don't think this result means anything with regard to the lineup, but it's going to be very hard for Kharchla to improve on last year's finish with such a glaring weakness. The guys in this weight class are good, and they're good everywhere, not just on their feet. O'Toole, Griffith, Hamiti, Amine, Carr... won't be easy.
174 - 285 - Veterans took care of business as you would expect. Feldman didn't wrestle, obviously he had what looked like a shoulder stinger on Tuesday, not sure what the extent of that is. TR was on the broadcast but didn't really elaborate other than to say we'll see him this year, just not tonight.

Surely I'm not the only person to notice Decatur jumped the whistle and got away with it. Not a knock on him but if the ref stops the action and calls a caution, D'Emilio probably hangs on. That said--D'Emilio needs to be a bit sharper in that situation.
D'Emilio should be the starter regardless.
Let's not overreact to Hepner over Kharchla. These guys wrestle every day and Hepner had a great game plan. Kudos to him.
Johnny Thompson, defending NCAA champ from Okie State, was once pinned in a wrestle off.
