Surprised we didn’t get a breakdown on this one. A couple of ranked matchups. Smith v Lautt at 174 is probably the best match up. Uncertain if UNC rolls out there national champ at 157.

At the half Bucks are cruising 5-0. Kharchla had a bit of a scare while Smith gave a veteran performance in a tight bout. How about Orndorf…? I may be mistaken I believe he is your clubhouse leader in terms of team points associated with duals. Two pins in back to back duals

Pins by Mendes and Sasso along with a decision for Malik make for a solid outing. Decatur loses in the last 15 seconds in an all too familiar fashion. Forfeit for Paddy? Curious if he was a little banged up from Friday. All star classic coming in a few days and Vegas looms large.

Good overall match by the Buckeyes. Gritty performances by Hinselman and Smith. Biggest concerns were Karchla getting into trouble with a freshman, the forfeit at 157, hopefully Gallagher is ok and we need DeEmilio back. Big positive was three wins by fall. When is the last time that happened?

If Paddy was banged up I wish they would have brought Wilcox as a backup plan. BTW I loved Sammy's inside trip, wish he would use it more often.

Had a different perspective on Karchla. He was down 6-0 and fought off his back in a nearside for about a minute. Came all the way back and won handily. I'd call that result a positive.
Side note - a near side cradle can beat good wrestlers. Wish I would have known that 25 years ago.
