I will be in attendance. No Ohio wrestlers as the top seed. A champ from Ohio is most likely to be at 215 where they are 2, 3, 4 seeds in Shulaw, Russo, and snider. Other than that I don’t see anyone from Ohio with a real shot to win. Wonder if Ohio has never had a champ before?

126: Top-end talent - incredibly good.
144: INSANELY deep. Just bonkers.

From a Buckeye perspective, I see Welsh is the #1 seed (175), Herman the #2 seed (144) and Birden the 5 seed (157). It does not appear that Kilkeary is in the field. I don't see Kaedyn and Kamdyn Williams either.

Advice: Locate me from afar. Watch just for a bit. If you don't like what you see, avoid contact. However, if you don't mind, introduce yourself!

Enter at your own risk.

Ed’s puts two in the semis and sits at fifth carrying the banner for the Buckeye state. Brecksville is next closest at 11th. Stillwater has a legit shot to knock off Blair if they can push their semi finalist through. To be noted, two of their semi finalist appear to be Ohio transplants (Beric Jordan/ Voinavich). As noted by Bob we have an all Ohio semi final at 215 between Russo and Shulaw. On the Buckeye front Rocco Welsch is crushing at 175 and Ethan Birden notched a ranked win to make the semis at 165. Brock Herman takes a loss to Dublin Scioto’s multi state champ Ty Wilson in the quarters. Wilson has verbaled to Penn. He comes out of the 13th seed spot with a legitimate shot to make the finals as he beats Herman in the number two spot. Teays Valley 190, and Nebraska recruit, Mcdanel also in the semis. Note worthy, outside of Ed’s two semi finalist I don’t recall any other Cleveland or northern Ohio finalist. Marcus Blaze looses in the quarters, and I didn’t see Joey Blaze listed. Graham is clear back at 20th with no semi finalist. Central Ohio is carrying the Ohio banner with 5 semi finalist my count.

Shulaw dominates his way to a win and the only title for Ohio belongs to the DeSales champ. Ty Wilson drops an “insane” semifinal overtime loss at 144 for the DublinScioto state champ (great call Nieman) and drops to fifth. Ethan Birden of Dublin Coffman likewise finishes 2nd at 157. With Shumate and Ayoub on the Sahmrock roster last year I didn’t pay as close attention to Birden. Bucks were way out in front with that pick up. Rocco Welsch dominated his way to a title over St Ed’s Miller with a 13-4 major in the finals. The Buckeye commit looks to be one of the top overall guys of this class. Notable, several guys came back through to make the podium for Ohio. Ayoub (DC-138, 4th), Blaize (PB-120, 3rd), and Mcdanel (TV-190, 2nd) make the podium. Buckeye recruit Herman from Brecksville wrestles all the way back to take 3rd at 144.

Thought it was interesting that Wilson beat Hermann, but Hermann then beat two guys who beat Wilson and outplaced Wilson.

Overall, Bucks recruits gets a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd.
