Just had their last practice as buckeyes. They are moving out west to persue olympic aspirations in Greco. Good luck on your journey.

Nick: How do you know so much? Is Nick Lecklider an anagram for "I am Tom Ryan" in some obscure language?
Congrats to them. Those guys were called upon a lot to fill in and gave it their all. Much appreciation and best wishes to the Koontz brothers moving forward.

Although Nick may be an alias/alter ego, this Koontz announcement was made on social media.
Either way, I purchased B1Gs tickets for my son and I. Can’t wait to head up there with him!

Looks like the Koontz twins are not done with college wrestling after all. They are wrestling at d3 Dubuque. I didn’t realize that was even within NCAA rules. I would think they will be in title contention. Good luck

Interesting that there is very little mention of OSU in either bio.

Will be interested to see if they place in D3.

Nothing but respect for these two competitors. They provided depth as valuable backups on many occasions. I like that they want a shot to do something on a national level in D3 while training in Greco. Good luck to both.
Dylan Koontz also has a 4th in Vegas on his resume. That's something to brag about.

D3 is agreeing with the twins. 125 Brady is 7-0 and 133 Dylan is 6-1 so far since leaving OSU.
Speaking of backups, Isaac Wilcox is becoming the "Fritz Schierl" of this years team, wrestling at 157, 165 & 174 and being competitive.
