My thoughts:
- Reminder to Ohio wrestling fans to support the 3 other D1 programs in the state!
- This dual should be discussed on this forum with the amount of Ohio representation. It's important to both programs.
- More lopsided than I expected, specifically seeing OU without Perrine and Gio. Gio has been out for a while so maybe it's more serious than I know.
- Very good result at 65 for Slivka.
- I bet Komara and Hagan have wrestled over 10 times. They probably are sick of each other.
- Really like Ferri from Kent at 25. Compact, great position, on the front foot. Hopefully he has a good post season.
- Missing Greer at 285 has really hurt OU this year.
- The Hagans have battled forever for OU. Props to those two. Per my many previous posts about guys in their 6th year in a college room, they are both running on fumes in my opinion. This isn't me being critical - more commending them for still competing well.
- Thompson started the year at 57. He has bumped up to 74 in Perrine's absence and wrestled well.
- I am not real familiar with Kent's line up. Were they missing starters?
- OU has beaten Kent and CSU for the 3rd straight season in duals. Hopefully they have a good MAC tournament this season and are well represented at Nationals.
