Wasn't the guy singing the national anthem at the finals about a million times better than the recorded organ music they played for the other sessions?
The concession stand prices were out of control.
The story Tom Ryan told about T.J. Enright was priceless.
Mihe Pucillo looks bigger from the stands than in person.
Tom Ryan and Joe Heskett are two of the nicest people I have met in a long time.
Wrestling fans are brothers no matter where they are from.
Some people I talked to or saw for the first time in a while:
Kenny Monday while waiting for a cab. He looks like he can still go a few takedowns, Mike Deanna with his father and son. Ross Thatcher and his wife carrying the trophy after the social. Dave Ruckman and his wife. Thanks for the ride to the airport Dave! The young man that was wrestling and had only one leg. I talked with him at the airport, what a nice kid with arms the size of most peoples calves. Del Creps from Bay ond OSU in the 80's.
Andy DiSabato and his wife, J.D. Bergman, Mike Pucillo, Lance Palmer, Tom Ryan, Joe Heskett and many more.
Get your tickets for next year, it is worth it. What a great time!

He's the greatest teammate ever! That's all.
The bottom line was he made it a point to make Jaggers better. There was
SO MUCH
more to the story, but that's the bottom line.

T.J., who was a two-time national qualifier I believe, could not cut to 133. Coach Ryan asked if he wanted to wrestle-off at 141. He said, "no, I want to help get Jaggers a national title." There is more to the story but it was loud in the room and hard to hear everything.

That certainly is part of "team" wrestling I haven't heard of before.

Additional thoughts on St. Louis:
HAVE IT THERE EVERY YEAR!!!
It is really a fan-friendly place! Union Station is fabulous for in between sessions and evenings. There are several hotels within walking distance. Arena is great! I drove there and the city is extremely easy to navigate. Went to the airport twice to pick up friends... also very easy and close!
To comment on the T.J./J story... did you see them when J came into the stands after winning??? There are no words to describe how selfless T.J. is and how grateful J was!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! So proud to be a Buckeye!!!! Class acts!!!

So glad to see they have more class than Maurice Clarrett, Robert Reynolds, the coach who had no control over either, etc.

An interesting slam on the Buckeyes football team when the team up north just lost one of two returning starters on the offensive line for OSU, who stated that Michigan, since hiring Rodriguez, "has lost its family values."
It seems Michigan just wants to win at all costs. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Again guys... let's raise raise the bar a bit.
Enright and Jaggers are the best. Very personable. I hope I get the chance to talk to them this summer.
Concerning Nationals and St. Louis... WHAT is it going to take to get the NCAA's HERE In Columbus, OHIO?!?! (Please note that this is the fifth time I've asked and NO ONE has responded. BOOO!!!)

Well it's going to take Columbus bidding on a year for the NCAA's. I believe the next years one city can bid on bringing in the NCAA's is 2011?
