That's a very solid recruiting class. I like the upside a lot. Add them in to Mendez, Feldman, Bouzakis, Geog and Shumate and the Bucks have completely revamped their room.
Welsh is ready to start if necessary and Kilkeary may have to.
Should be interesting.

People in MN are VERY high on Rogo. The dude loves a challenge as seen by him bumping up from 182 to take on the #1 in the nation at 195 - twice - when a state title would have been a "guarantee" at 182.
Gotta like a kid who chases the guy who is capable of beating him instead of taking the path of less resistance.

If Hepner goes 165 and for some reason Carson doesn’t come back to fill in 174, I could see Welsh starting. Kid loves to wrestle and is constantly seeking out best comp. Plus he is strong in all 3 phases.
Looking at numbers only 3 true freshman AA. Haines who skipped his sr year in HS and spent entire time working out at NLWC. Henson who beat Sasso and Mendez.

I guess I don't quite see Kharchla going to 174. Although he is broad chested, he is quite short, as evidenced by the team photo recently posted. I seem to remember that when it was announced that Hepner would redshirt, Hepner's plan was to go 174 next year.

That would be news to me. Hepner wrestled 157 at times just last year. He certainly has the frame potentially for it. Carson was a state champ up around 170 when he attended Liberty. Not sure what he won Fargo at. Neither weight class speaks to his frequent injuries.
