Should Ohio State pursue him? He's a one year rental.

Quote from Hank Kornblut's post:

Yes, bucks should go after him but my guess is Michigan or Rutgers

How about D'Augustino for 125?

Would really like D'Augustino as a 1 year rental.

Yes I would love Griffith and would think he goes to 174 next season which means if OSU does pursue him Kharchla's future is hazy.

this is where it gets hazy for me. If NILs are from others than the university then how does one exactly go about going for a guy in the portal who is obviously looking for some cash? Are coaches allowed to ask supporters to give money to a kid they want? How deep are the pockets of the supporters? We don't know who is getting what in NILs among the current team and that might mean supporters are tapped out. Is there any tracking of who is spending what in NILs? Are there any limits on how much or how many get NIL money? It used to be that you would look at the program, its coaches, possible scholarship money and how it might impact an athletes' chance of success. Don't get me wrong I think it's great the athletes are getting reimbursed but I am not convinced this is the way to go in that regards. I also worry that programs like Ohio U, Kent St and Cleveland St will become even more unable to compete in this market.

I heard CSU has cut athletic budgets 50%, at least with the grapplers.

Not good.
