Sasso now big favorite to win it all if he remains at 149. Been a while since Ohio state had a champ. Austin seemed to be his kryptonite when he was healthy. Probably just too many injuries throughout his career to keep going.

Nebraska kid Lovett is excellent as well. Sammy has beaten him in the past but it's been a minute since they wrestled. I'd also point out that Van Ness from PSU came on strong at NCAA's. Consider those three as your favorites.

Sasso is still the favorite. Beat svn 6-3 in season head to head. Sasso has only lost his last two finals to p4p beasts. Can someone beat him ? absolutely. No one thought rby or lee would lose. Point is if you were going to take Sammy sasso or the field who would you take? I take Sammy sasso if someone would like to bet at 149. So that would make him a significant favorite. Looked really good in freestyle also and should have won the open. He will be preseason number one in every publication.
