Nick Bousakis ran rough shot over the completion down in Chile. He tech’d his way to the finals before dispatching his opponent 14-4. Nick really likes singles to body locks. Congrats!

Bouzakis really impressed me with his decency. He crushed his opponents but went out of his way to show them respect as his hand was being raised. He looked them in the eyes, shook their hands and clapped them on their backs. He did not want them to feel embarrassed even though he had overwhelmed them. I'm a fan of his now not just because he's good but because of his empathy for others.

Wasn't Cuba part of the Pan Am? I noticed they are not represented, as they used to be one of the toughest teams?

I thought so. I didn’t look thoroughly enough to notice. Bousakis also won the outstanding wrestler award for the tournament. Congrats to Teays Valley grad Camden Mcdanel on taking the gold as well.
