To be fair he was already there as a part of the Cliff Keene wrestling club. I’m assuming they weren’t sure if he’d get a medical for his seventh year. Alas here we are. I think Brady is on the money. Not a good look when you bring in mercenaries over the top of guys on campus. I don’t know that this method equates to success though. I can think of a lot more guys on their sixth and seventh years whose bodies are falling apart than guys having success. From a fan standpoint Gomez is an electric factory, so good for the sport. But…he’s literally been fully healthy 1.5 years out of 6. Maybe not the best return on investment here.

He is going 149. Half of UM lineup is transfers with most only one year rentals.
