Discussion Topic: Ohio Tournament of Champions - Freestyle Division Added
Bart Freidenberg added to this discussion on March 27, 2008

For those wrestlers that are concentrating on freestyle wrestling, the Tournament of Champions has added a Freestyle Division to its event this year. The Freestyle Division will be a combined Cadet/Elite Division and wrestlers should be in high school (a 2nd year Cadet 8th grader MAY choose to compete in this division as well). The TofC will still offer the modified style for those Cadet & Elite wrestlers that wish to compete in that style instead. Note: wrestlers may compete in one division only.

Between 200-250 Freestyle wrestlers are anticipated to compete in this new Division, which requires no other pre-qualification in order to compete. Freestyle officials will be brought in to referee these matches.
