Discussion Topic: Scoring Adjustments

Recently, on social media, much discussion was occurring the newly instituted TD3*. During the exchanges, similar to what I have seen on this message board, discussions about adjusting Major Decisions and Technical Falls arose.
In the past, the scale for TDs, MDs, and TFs were broken down as such:
TD = 2
MD = 8-14
TF = 15+
Thus, the ratio was TD x4-7 = MD, and TD x8+ would be a TF.
With this in mind, should the NCAA and/or Coaches Committee, look into sliding the MD & TF points to adjust for the rise in TD point values? (Pretty significant dual meet implications, IMO.)
TD = 3
MD = 12-21 (TD3 x4-7)
TF = 22+ (TD3 x8)
Thoughts?
* I don't recall being staunching against or overly for
the TD3. I am still not swayed one way or the other (really). But I do know I like yelling "Two" better than I like yelling "Three".

The 3 pt TD is the best rule change in the history of college wrestling. You can come back but you need more than 1 pt escapes and stalling calls to do it. The sport is now less subjective in my opinion.
I do think there's going to be some change to the scoring necessary to attain a major or a TF. Or leave it alone. I don't really care.
Either way, this current version of college wrestling is much better than any I've ever seen. Riding still matters but more guys are competing on their feet because they need to come back. And the more deserving wrestler is winning more often.
Emphasizing TD's has always been the way to make the sport better.
