Congratulations to Chase Skonieczny, the 2008 NHSCA Senior Nationals Champion at 135 pounds. Skonieczny won the state title this year that had thusfar eluded him, and now he is a national champion. He will be a fine addition to the Golden Flashes next year, and he game should translate well to the collegiate style. Between Skonieczny, Bedelyon, and Kilgore, Kent's AA drought will be ending soon.

I was going to say that CSU--with Keller, and KSU have both recruited Sr Nationals champs.
Keller is a good mat wrestlers and should be competitive instantly for the Vikings.
After watching Jordan Oliver, I understand why the Buckeyes went after him so hard. He's at least as good as David Taylor and probably a shade better. I think he'll be an AA candidate instantly for Okie State.

Hank, Keller's performance had been on my mind, but I just forgot when posting that. Good for him and the Vikings.... Effner is due a break his way.

Does Chase project as a 133 or 141 for Kent?

Scott: I don't know what the Cowboys plan. They have Jamal Parks as well--another great prospect for 133-141. After watching Oliver, I don't see how he doesn't start. He tore through the comp like it wasn't there. I watched several of the finals matches on flowrestling (which posted them almost as fast as they happened--what a website for wrestling fans!) and no one else was remotely as good as Oliver.
