Been waiting for him to enter the portal. Definitely think he can All American. Would fit in perfect for a year at 165. Cmon this is the one i was hoping to land!
He has kept it close to all the elite guys and has no bad losses.
Lost to messenbrink 8-5
Haines 2-1
Griffith 2-1
Definitely fills a one year need until Birden is ready

Barraclough is from Utah, wonder if Wilcox and him are friends? Isaac could put a good word in for tOSU.

Ohio State has said that they want to win with their recruited guys. I don’t know why they’d do something that’s against their conscience just for a few more points at NCAAs?

Time for someone who wants to "rent a wrestler" to write a check?

Ohio State will pass on Barraclough unless it views him as a title contender.

Ohio state will not pass on him I can almost promise. It’s not going to cost a big check either. The four people that give big checks all have 165 pounders. Penn state, Iowa, Oklahoma state, and Michigan are set at 165. He is a high all American in my opinion. Ohio state knows where its two holes are at 165 and 197. Ohio state went after Cardenas and missed at 197. They will absolutely go after him and the big guns will not be bidding. Hepner had his chance and went 0-4 at big tens. I really like our chances the more I think about it

Sounds like he wants to go to grad school and use his last year of eligibility.
Rumor is ASU is favored to land him.

Before moving on from Hepner, I’d like an explanation on what the heck happened at Big 10s. Was he hurt? Sick? Bad attitude? His performance was inexplicable. Until then he was wrestling well.

If Carson can make 165 again I like that option and no need for him. 165 definitely needs addressed however. In a perfect world here is the lineup
125 davino
133 bouzakis
141 mendes
149 sasso healthy
157 paddy
165 Carson
174 welsh
184 Rotogotzke
197 a transfer or much improved Geog
285 Feldman
If Carson can’t make it bring in Barraclough
If Arizona state is the rumor he won’t be 165. I am pretty sure Teemer will be 165

Barraclough is good and instantly improves a weak spot in the lineup. If I had more faith in Hepner, my response would be different but his Big Ten performance was poor.

Does Wilcox have eligibility? I checked the roster and he has been on the team quite a few years.
