Personally, I think punishing the athletes because your goverment/leaders do awful things is unfair. I'd be overjoyed if Putin was poisoned, blown up or flung from an airplane (all things he has done to others). But the wrestlers have nothing to do with the invasion of Ukraine.        Discussion Topic: Did they opt out or Michael Rodriguez added to this discussion on July 7, 2024 So the IOC banned certain Russian wrestlers from the Olympics because of their stance on the Russia/Ukraine conflict and then the Russians said, “if you’re not letting our entire team compete, then none of our wrestlers will compete”.
