He has been added to the staff. Everyone thought he would take over Oklahoma state. I like the hire.

Coleman Scott is a very good coach, and recruits know it. He offers the current staff and roster a fresh set of eyes. Excellent hire that no one saw coming.

WOW definitely didn't see that coming. Wonder what that means with respect to ORTC roster outlook.

This may be a move to further entice Blaze and Bassett. Imagine the future ortc room of Feldman, Davino, Mendez, welsh, Bassett and Blaze. That could bring the ortc back to how elite they once were.

Tremendous hire and frankly not something I thought OSU was capable of pulling off at this point in time.
Really happy with this addition. Coleman brings a different perspective from the guys that have come through the program and is obviously a tremendous coach. His impact on Oklahoma State in just one year back there was immense.

In the press release Ryan noted that they know their post-grad roster is bare for this Olympic quad but they believe in the talent coming through the team right now and want to be in position to keep these guys in Columbus for the next quad.

New eyes. New blood. Great hire. I'm THRILLED
I've felt for awhile that other programs were making moves while the Bucks were standing still. Bringing Coleman Scott to Columbus is a clear signal that the Bucks are not going to idly allow other programs to pass them up.

Kudos to the donor or donors who made this happen. Coleman Scott didn’t come for free.
Also, kudos to Aaron Brooks. Without his upset of David Taylor at the Olympic Trials, Coleman Scott would have remained in Stillwater and taken over as coach of Oklahoma State.

Another impact this could have is Jax Forrest. Everyone seemed to think Jax was a heavy favorite to Oklahoma state before Taylor was there. Coleman Scott probably was a big part of that since he was at that time considered the future coach of the program ( at least I’m hoping anyway). Is it to much to ask to get Blaze, Bassett , and Forrest?

I think it's probably asking too much to get all three of them but here's to hoping

I wonder if Scott will try to bring in Daton Fix.
Have to think those 2 are close and will be an even bigger bargaining chip to land Forrest.

Fix was at Oklahoma State for seven years. Coleman was there for one. Guessing Fix’s allegiance is more to the school than to a coach he barely knew. But we can hope!
