Did anyone watch Feldman's match? I saw he lost, just wondered what happened.

He got handled. Gave up 2 td's and an escape. He had an escape and a stalling point.

Mendez beats Bartlett 4-1. First period takedown holds up.
Starocci beats Parker K 4-1 in SV.

Parker looked off and seem to be gassing.
Wouldn’t shock me if he reverses that score in March.

The first takedown Nick gave up was off of a counter type of situation. The Campbell kid shot, Nick defended and looked like he was about to counter on a head outside single. Somehow Ghidalli caught Nicks leg and was able to muscle the finish. Feldman was very stagnant on bottom as neither guy did much to improve. He gave up a takedown at the end on an errant shot. Ghidalli is longer but didn’t really do anything astonishing. Just waited for Feldman to shoot. His length is a little tough for Nick IMO. He’ll see him again at CKLV. The match could absolutely go the other way.
Jesse looked great. I’ll go ahead say it, Bartlett isn’t beating him again. Bo cannot get to Jesse’s legs, and I think Mendez is one of the cleanest finishers in wrestling. His adjustment in that high crotch lay out position, while subtle, was impressive. That position is normally a strength for Bo.
Rankings question, Starocci moved up a weight and is ranked 1 while Keckesin is 2 and Parker, prior to last night, was the returning champ at that weight. Mendez is the returning champ at 141, but the Northern Colorado kid is ranked ahead. I know rankings are projections but I don’t follow the logic.

Jared: I'll second everything you said about Mendez v Bartlett. There's a gap. All things being equal, Jesse is going to beat him 9 out of 10. And there's no logical explanation for him not being ranked #1.
Feldman looked off. The Campbell wrestler used his length well but Nick just seemed stuck in a lower gear than usual. It's an exhibition.
Kudos to Kellar from OU for wrestling a competitive bout against PSU. He's dangerous from a variety of spots and rode Kasak hard for a full period. PSU wrestlers are almost impossible to ride.
Keck vs Starocci was highly competitive. If the Bucks are redshirting Welsh to avoid these two, I understand the logic. But selfishly I'd prefer to see him on the mat.

Extra props to Kellar, dude drove home, made weight, and wrestled in a 1PM dual today vs. Michigan State and earned a 12-0 major. Wow!

Incredible. OU and MSU was a tight dual. OU is just not competitive in the first three wts. After than, they're tough.

Kellar’s teammates I’m sure appreciated that. Kudos to him. I recall thinking last year that Paddy Gallagher should’ve beaten Kellar by more at Vegas. The match was close. I was wrong. Kellar is a stud and that was a good win.

I prefer "rolling ball of butcher knives", but I like your style:)
Kellar is an absolute problem on top. He is comfortable and dangerous everywhere. I love watching him wrestle.
