Jordan Decatur is back wrestling at Kent State after taking a year off. I thought he would be a national qualifier at least but it doesn’t look like it as he is 6-4 with some very bad losses. I was really rooting for him. For some reason he tried to wrestle 133 which he couldn’t even make when he wrestled at Ohio State and has since went back to 141.
Gavin Hoffman comes out of retirement and switches from coach to wrestler at Lock Haven. Ohio state could have really used him at 197 this year.
Olivia Shore who was a previous college national champion for Tiffin is at her third college in three years. Last year she didn’t wrestle at all and this year she is currently ranked the number two wrestler behind an Iowa girl. She is now at Otterbein in their first woman’s wrestling season.
