Have we sent guys to this open before? Don’t recall hearing about it. I’ll be interested to see if the move down works in Sammy’s favor

I don't know but the brackets are pretty full and looks like Sammy could get 5 matches in at 157.

Very curious how the wrestle off between him and Paddy goes.

Let's see how Sammy does down a weight first. Will he be noticeably improved?

Quick pin second match. Sasso looks good but hasn’t had much of any competition. His finals match should be a good indication of what he is at 157.

Won 2nd via fall.

Not sure about competition but he seems to be a little closer to vintage Sammy

The question about Sammy is did he run out of gas after 4 matches? Or is he limited by his injuries?

Nothing but massive respect for how hard he's trying to come back to being an NCAA finalist caliber wrestler after nearly being shot to death.

Coaches definitely have their hands full tying to figure out 157 & 165 spots.

He was winning big before losing that scramble. If he just bellies out you'd think he goes onto to win.

Yes -- coaches have a big decision at 157.

No. Arrington ripped him to shreds from the opening whistle. Not sure what you're talking about. I also think Sammy was worn out from wrestling 4-5 matches previously. Again, we don't know a lot about how Sam might be hampered from his injuries/weight cutting, etc....

I was given bad information on that match then.
