Being more of a college fan than HS, always intrigued by where these young men land.

Thanks to Borofan for keeping track.

Current committments:

Senior class rankings:

https://www.borofanohio.net/2025-class

Looks like the following are not committed:

Huhn - Lasalle
Murphy - Moeller
Sanderfer - Perry
Thomas - Mechanicsburg
Goldberg - St. Eds
Brock - Harrison
King - Barnesville
Garcia - Bexley
Geckler - Perry
Soto - Perrysburg
Hermes - Milan Edison
Deboe - Mentor
Haffner - Brecksville

Those in the know - any of these kids project to successful D1 college wrestlers?

Goldberg St Eds came out of "nowhere" and just cleaned house at end of season in Ohio.

Yes I am told by a good source that Mize is a monster. Someone go get this kid.

I watched Mize this year a couple times. I think he has a lot of up side as a college wrestler.

I think he was in the starting lineup as a 9th grader and has been squeezed out until this year.

As always, it's the best site for wrestling. I think 30-40 years ago, coaches were able to develop the skill of a nonstate champ. Dan St. John at ASU was a two-time NCAA Champ, and Bobby Douglas developed his talent. Brian Dolph and NCAA Champ Jim Humphrey, and Joe McFarland both helped develop the skills that got him to the top of the podium. I believe the list on here has guys like that, but what is lacking is the time coaches have to develop a kid, especially at the larger schools. Penn State has done well at it. Carter Storocci was a 4th at Fargo, got in that room, and the rest is history. He was great, but 5x great; that is a different level of domination. I think anyone on that list, given the time to develop, is a d1 podium guy, but I would argue that Jim Weir and Dan St. John are both NCAA champs. Do any of you know or care what division it is? I don't. The resume says NCAA Champ!
The big schools need the best now, and to perform well, smaller schools may be the answer for these guys to develop into AA. Great job this year. The content was excellent. Thank you all for bringing your best!

Bill, where is Jack Deboe going? Has he decided to wrestle in college?
