Couldn’t ask for a better first half of the season. Clearly the second best team in the nation at this point.

125- Bouzakis looks like a title contender. Wins over 3 guys in the top 12 and Anthony Knox who would be a top 5 guy if he wasn’t redshirting imo. He is too strong for these 125s. He conditioning I was worried about but he looks even better than last year. I’m not sure I would trade him for any other 125. Lilladahl and Robinson I’m excited to see him against. Two of the best 125 pounders both lost to teammates this year.

133- Davino has two wins over top 5 guys. I like him over Byrd but don’t think he beats Blaze. Crookham is never healthy so I think he is a finalist. Oklahoma state has not been preforming well at 133 and still think Forrest is going to end up wrestling. Forrest and Blaze I would have both over him. Prediction 2-3 place

141- 3 timer. Vega has looked good but he’s not beating Jesse

149-stiles gets in a lot of one takedown matches. I think he all Americans somewhere between 5-8 but wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t.

157- cannon has bonused everyone and made good wrestlers look bad. He is becoming a fan favorite always looking to score. Only Shapiro and duke I like over him right now. 3rd place prediction.

165-paddy is right there in his losses. I think bloodround he will have one of those matches and come up short again.

174-Carson had looked great. Haines wins it but Carson is right there with the top 2-5

184- fishback is wrestling in the toughest bracket probably. Ferrari Sinclair and mcenelly and welsh are a little better. 5-6 place here.

197- geog is ranked 9 somehow but I’m not convinced. Probably closer to 20. 2-2 NCAA

285- I have Feldman at four behind Trumble bastida and Ferrari even tho he beat Ferrari h2h. Kueter looks hurt so I think Feldman is probably fourth.

8 all Americans. The battle for 2nd will be extremely tight with Iowa, Iowa state, Oklahoma state, and Nebraska. Hopefully the buckeyes didn’t peak too early. Looking forward to the second half.

I think that's a pretty reasonable assessment.

A lot of things would have to go right to end up with 8 AA's, though.

Butterflies and Zebras and Moonbeams and Fairy Tales (a line from a Jimi Hendrix song--Little Wing). It's my way of saying that 8AA's is possible but unlikely simply because sometimes things just go wrong.

I think in spite of the fact the Bucks have a full lineup of AA competitors, 6 is more reasonable. Now what I'd love to see is a couple national champs. Bouzakis, Davino and Mendez are all finalist caliber.

Marcus Blaze turned down a wagyu brisket NIL to attend PSU. Outstanding wrestler but he's cursed. I've got Davino beating him when it matters.
