No, I am not talking about how many Sers had to bend the knee to Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. I am talking about the technique of being in a sprawl when defending a takedown then intentionally bending the knees to crowd the opponents head, perhaps in order to be better able to reach the opponent's foot or to get a lock around the crotch.
I wonder if it's impatience about the relatively static position or if the sprawling wrestler feels that bending the knee might allow them to score. I saw this technique done successfully by some OSU wrestlers but also saw it fail a number of time as it allowed the attacking wrestler to complete the takedown.
