Deke Gunsolley added to this discussion on August 26, 2007 Brian, Here's what I've read: Middle School Wrestling (regulations in effect for 2007-08 season): · New point total. Regular season points have increased to 15 points, plus a one-day 2 point post-season tournament for a total of 17 points. (Passed via regulations) - Post season tourney is your LEAGUE MEET. · Increase scrimmages from one to two. (Passed via regulations) · Add the 205-pound weight class. (Passed via regulations) · Increase the 230-pound weight class to 245-pounds. (Passed via regulations) · The only weight allowance shall be 2-pound allowance on December 25. (Passed via regulations) · The regulation requiring teams that member middle school teams may only compete against member teams has been tabled until June for further legal review.
