Discussion Topic: Logan Stieber or David Taylor

I know these 2 wrestled a couple years ago while at 103 with Taylor winning. Who wins a matchup today between these two out of this universe wrestlers. Would results be different in folkstyle and freestyle? Opinions please.

Both are awesome wrestlers. There's not much of an analytical difference between the two, mostly because both have won everything they've been at. In a very close call, I'd pick Stieber. Taylor did defeat Stieber in their only meeting, but remember that was Stieber's first varsity tournament ever. Taylor lost in his first tournament, and that was to Sergent. Stieber has not lost since. In fact, he hasn't really been close to losing. Taylor lost only once since then: in a dual his sophomore year versus Jamie Clark.

The way I see it...
If thy wrestled 100 times today, the result would be close to 50/50
They are both as good as any college wrestler out there...
However, I would like to see David Taylor win!!!

MUST
land one - if not both (it's the eternal optimist in me!) - of these recruits?????
If you can only land one, flip a coin for all I care. For any downside one might have, he has 1,000,000,000,000 times the upside. Besides, the difference as far as talent and potential to do great things at the next levels is so off the charts and comparable that any steadfast distinction is only splitting hairs. (Insert 'splitting hairs emoticon here!)
In the end...I say LAND'EM BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!

yep,
in the Ironman finals
, that Taylor vs Stieber match might be talked about for alot of years, the way these 2 kids careers are going !!
( i kind of think the Buckeyes staff doesnt need to be told anything about Mr. Stieber and Mr. Taylor.)

I thought it appropriate to revive this topic. With both wrestlers moving up in weight and adding to their already impressive resumes this match looks to be a possibility. IMO this would be the biggest high school match since Metcalf vs. Schlatter.

I think both are great wrestlers But I would take Stiebers... I know many are talking about Ironman and these two meeting. Yes I am right there with everyone one that I would love to see this matchup. But at the same time I think they will avoid each other here. One I don't think Taylor wants to take that chance because he could be the first 4 timer there. I just want to see also how Taylor will truely do moving up so high next yr. Stieber has already showed what he can do at the heavier weights. But if it does happen its going to be a road trip for sure...

oh yeh, both are in Ironman, i could see both at 125 matter of fact. Would be the match of the year, the nations best junior Stieber vs very possibly the nations best senior Taylor.
Ironman picked up a few more California studs this summer--- as the bible said, "There will be weeping & gnashing of teeth", esp in wts 125 thru 145, those are all super-duper-loaded.
