From that list, I would identify Collins, Roth, and Newburg as those having the most potential to make an impact at the Division I level.
From what I've heard, Collins was only a third or fourth-year wrestler this year and was undefeated (admittedly against not the greatest of schedules) up to the state final match; he then won a couple matches at NHSCA Seniors. Certainly the upside is high.
Evan Roth is a wrestler that could have finished anywhere from first to seventh in Division II this year at 171. Guess what happened - he had a bad break/marginal call against Michaels in the district quarter, then drew Thomusseit in the state quarter, and drew Mills in the consi quarter. Therefore, he finished seventh despite having a win over state champion Witt at mid-year. I think he can certainly help fill what is a lineup hole for Kent at 174.
Casey Newburg seems to be a raw talent that just needs completion, and can fill into the 197 weight class effectively. He was leading the state quarterfinal against Lamberg but ended up losing that in OT, injured in that match and lost his next consi match.

125: Mike Varga (Olmsted Falls) - Q-X-X-X
District champion ran into Genetin in the match to place at state.
130: Sean Collins (Coshocton) - 2-8-X-X
Finishing 53-1 this year, his only loss was the state championship bout to Hightower.
130: Craig Bell (M.C. Perry, Japan) - ?
I don't know anything about him.
145: Drew Leonard (Norton) - X-6-X-X
Quite good, but was in a tough weight at Firestone and finished 6th after finishing 6th at state as a junior.
171: Evan Roth (Pemberville Eastwood) - 7-Q-Q-X
Very good prospect. Qualified twice in D1 at an inner-city Toledo school before transferring.
189: Casey Newburg (Clayton Northmont) - Q-Q-X-X
Very good prospect. Up from qualification at 160 as a junior.
215: David Schlarb (New Philadelphia) - Q-X-X-X
Solid state-level 215.
285: Mike Kowalczyk (Garfield, NJ) - ?
Hails from the same high school as former KSU 197-pounder Ardian Ramadani.

Josh and DC: Thanks for filling in the blanks on these guys. Judging by Josh's info, several of these guys have a lot of upside. Looks like Kent did a nice job of locating kids that can add depth and could be much better than their state placements would indicate (kind of like Phil Savage does with the browns).
One of the reasons Kent has become a nationally ranked program has been their ability to find kids that can prosper in their system. I like this class and look forward to following these wrestlers as Golden Flashes.

Kent adds some more depth to the recruiting class. I think with the addition of some of these kids Kent State is looking at a Top 25 recruiting class. With Kent bringing in Skonieczny who is hitting his stride right now added with Mitcheff, Opfer, and Shuster this class is becoming very solid all around.
