Say you where there! We are pleased to announce yet another opportunity to join the “Buckeye Nation” in the pursuit of the 2009 National Championship. Save the date, Sunday November 16th for the “Buckeye Duals” to be held at Perrysburg High School, TBA
True to form, Coach Ryan and staff continue to gain momentum, garnered from last season’s spectacular finish by enlisting the support of the “Buckeye Nation” in Northwest Ohio. This event makes it even easier for fans to support the team, while taking in a full afternoon of collegiate wrestling. Be part of an unprecedented opportunity for Northwest Ohio wrestling fans to see returning National Champions, Mike Pucillo and J Jaggers, along with several All Americans. An action packed afternoon of wrestling is in store, as three additional collegiate teams will compete for the opportunity to face the red hot “Buckeyes”. As well, an exhibition of the area’s top youth wrestlers take on Michigan’s best along with several other items of interest will be available.

Elliot, the OSU website lists Columbus as the site of the Buckeye Duals, is that a typo?

Any word on who the additional 3 teams will be? Surely some big names would wanna come in to take a stab at knocking off the Bucks?

I think they are trying to limit the Buckeye duals to Ohio schools. Currently Notre Dame and Cleveland State are the other schools committed. I don't know if they are still trying to add a fourth team. However, even if a fourth team is added, each team will only wrestle two duals.
