I am posting to let everyone know that, as of today, 6/2/2008, I have resigned as the Head Wrestling Coach at Lakewood High School. I have had nine great years and coached many great kids. This was a very tough decision for me considering i wrestled and graduated from Lakewood. For those of you that have Lakewood on your schedule next year, nothing will change with that. If you have any questions concerning next year's schedule please contact The athletic director Bob Thayer at 216-529-4034.
With all that being said I am announcing that I am going to be the new Head Wrestling Coach at Avon Lake High School. I am very excited about the potential that Avon Lake has. I am looking forward to this new challenge. I can still be reached at all the same contacts.

Congrats. This seems out of the blue... I heard nothing of Coach Weaver retiring or that AL job was open.

Vinnie: you fought the good fight for a long time. Congrats on doing great work in a tough situation. You deserve the Avon Lake job. I have no doubt your successes there will be even better.
